UPPER BLEPHAROPLASTY

PTOSIS REPAIR

Ptosis is a droop of the eyelid itself, not just the skin. Ptosis often makes patients look tired or sleepy. It is corrected by tightening the eyelid muscle either through an internal (scarless) incision or externally through the skin. Ptosis repair is often combined with blepharoplasty surgery when both are necessary.

The procedure takes fat from one area of the body, processes it into smooth micro-fat, and injects it into another site to add volume and smooth facial lines and wrinkles. This works as a natural filler with long-lasting results.
Restoration of lost volume is an integral part of modern eyelid surgery. For this reason, fat transfer to the undereye and cheek area is included at no extra charge with lower blepharoplasty.

This procedure is usually best for patients in their 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s, with soft, “baby fat” necks and good skin.
